                         francesa de C{\'o}rsega, usando imagem do Sentinel - 1A 
                         (Synthetic Aperture Radar, SAR), miss{\~a}o Copernicus. O 
                         resultado indica que a polariza{\c{c}}{\~a}o VV do Sentinel-1 
                         conseguiram detectar o derramamento de {\'o}leo.Esse estudo 
                         mostra ser {\'u}til tanto para a detec{\c{c}}{\~a}o de 
                         derramamento de {\'o}leo, quanto para posterior 
                         utiliza{\c{c}}{\~a}o dos resultados, de forma oportuna e 
                         econ{\^o}mica, para a calibra{\c{c}}{\~a}o e 
                         avalia{\c{c}}{\~a}o de modelos num{\'e}ricos que preveem 
                         trajet{\'o}rias de dispers{\~a}o de derramamentos de {\'o}leo. 
                         ABSTRACT: This paper deals with the semiautomatic detection of an 
                         oil spill that occurred after the collision of two ships 
                         container, in October 2018, in the Mediterranean Sea, north of the 
                         French island of Corsica, using an image of Sentinel-1A (Synthetic 
                         Aperture Radar, SAR), Copernicus mission. The results indicate 
                         that the VV polarizations of the Sentinel -1 detected probable oil 
                         spill. This proposal proves to be useful both for the detection of 
                         oil spill and for the later use of the results, in a timely and 
                         economical way, for the calibration and evaluation of numerical 
                         models that predict trajectories of dispersion of oil spills.",
